Interns on New York programs stay for weeks at a time in a private suite with a kitchenette, free WiFi and a lockable door, safer and quieter than a short-term sublet found online.
A private suite with room to read, write and take calls, on a quiet residential block, with direct subway access to campuses and institutions across Manhattan.

Every suite has a kitchenette or wet bar, and Trader Joe's, Target and Whole Foods Market are within walking distance, which matters on a student or stipend budget.
Location
248 Lenox Avenue sits between 122nd and 123rd Street in Harlem. The 2 and 3 trains stop nearby and reach Times Square in approximately 14 minutes; the A, B, C and D trains at 125th Street reach Midtown, Columbus Circle and Brooklyn.
The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is in the neighborhood, and Central Park begins at 110th Street, roughly an 8 minute walk away.
Arranging a Term
Include your program dates, how many participants need space, and whether anyone is sharing a suite. Suite pricing is based on 2 guests and each additional guest is $50 per night, up to the suite's maximum occupancy.
Rates vary by season, length of stay and group size, so multi-week academic stays are quoted individually. A stay request is not an automatically confirmed reservation. We confirm in writing first.
Private Suites
Individual participants usually take the Single Bed or Queen Suite; pairs and small cohorts take the King or Loft.
Wet bar and one pillow-top full size bed. A futon that converts into a bed for an additional guest is available in all but one unit. Sleeps 1 to 3.
